Although the theme of Thanksgiving is, of course, being thankful, the holiday tends to revolve around the feast, and while you could prepare your favorite in meals in our beautifully equipped kitchens, with all the restaurants open for business and serving variations of the traditional Thanksgiving feast, why should you? - Brasas Grill Brazilian Steakhouse, 325 E Merritt Island Causeway on Merritt Island – If you have never experienced a Brazilian steakhouse before, your Florida getaway is the perfect time to remedy that, especially as Brasas Grill Brazilian Steakhouse is serving a Thanksgiving Feast that includes turkey, honey ham, and all the traditional sides. Reservations are required, and our only bit of advice is to bring your appetite—there will be a LOT of food being served.
- Flavour Kitchen and Wine Bar, 15 N Orlando Avenue in Cocoa Beach – Offering a Thanksgiving meal with an haute cuisine flair, the chef of Flavour Kitchen and Wine Bar will be offering a three-course prixe fixe meal that includes a turkey dinner. Turkey not your thing? The chef will also be offering a choice of New York strip, salmon, or tortellini macaroni and cheese.
Sip & Stroll: Shop Small Saturday in Historic Cocoa Village, November 30th, 5-9 PM
Almost as soon as you take that final bite of pumpkin pie, it is Christmas season, and although Black Friday shopping will always be fun (shops will be open at normal times on Friday, November 29), Sip & Stroll in Cocoa Village, held on Saturday will be what satisfies. Participants receive a wine glass and tote bag upon checking in, and for ticket purchasers, the next four hours will be filled with games, sipping, food, and exciting shopping discounts. And even as the event ends at 9 PM, the restaurants and bars will remain open, so consider ordering a ride share and experiencing all that Cocoa Village has to offer.
